Meet the amazing and dedicated Highlands Elementary School wellness team! Students can reach out to their counselors for questions, guidance, and support.
School psychologists may provide support and consultation to teachers and parents of students experiencing learning and/or behavior problems. Students with an Individual Education Program who exhibit the need for a higher level of care may be recommended to receive Educationally-Related Mental Health Services. | Patricia "Patty" Banales | My name is Patty A. Banales. I am excited to be the School Counselor at Highlands Elementary School. I was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California. I attended University of California, Santa Barbara. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to live music, and weekend getaways. It is very rewarding for me to support and inspire students to reach their full potential during their educational journey. I look forward to meeting all of you!
